During 5 - 7 Feb, the weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea, so morning fog would occur over upper Thailand, cool to cold weather remains in the North and the Northeast. Cold to very cold is expected on the mountaintops, minimum temperature 5-15C. The weak easterly wind across the South causes less rain in the South. During 8 - 11 Feb, the westerly trough covers the North and the upper Northeast while the another high-pressure system will extent to cover the Northeast and the South China Sea, so it causes cool to cold in the North and the Northeast with windy, drop 2-4C in temperature. Cold to very cold is expected on the mountaintops, minimum temperature 3-14C. The easterly wind across the South will strengthen, which causes more rain in the South. The wind waves in the lower Gulf of Thailand will strengthen that is about 2 meters.

During 8 – 11 Feb, people in upper Thailand should be careful of thundershowers and gusty winds. All ships in the lower Gulf of Thailand should proceed with cautions.

Northern Part During 5 – 8 Feb, cool to cold with morning fog.

Minimum temperature 12-22 C. Maximum temperature 32-35C.

Cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 5-15C.

During 9 – 11 Feb, cool to cold, drop 1-3C in temperature.

Isolated thundershowers mostly in the upper part.

Minimum temperature 11-21 C. Maximum temperature 30-33C.

Cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 3-14C.

Southeasterly wind 5-10 km/hr.

Northeastern Part During 5 – 7 Feb, cool with morning fog.

Minimum temperature 18-21 C. Maximum temperature 32-35C.

From Surat Thani upward: Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.

From Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters.
