During 7 - 8 Feb, the weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea, so morning fog would occur over upper Thailand. Cool to cold weather remains in the North and the Northeast. Cold to very cold is expected on the mountaintops, minimum temperature 5-16C. The weak easterly wind across the South causes isolated rain in the South. During 9 - 13 Feb, the westerly trough will move to cover the North and the upper Northeast while the another high-pressure system will extend to the upper country and the South China Sea, so it causes thundershowers with gusty wind over upper Thailand with isolated hails in the upper North. Cool to cold in the North and the Northeast with windy, drop 3-6C in temperature while temperature drop by 1-3C in the Central and the East. Cold to very cold is expected on the mountaintops with isolated frost, minimum temperature 2-12C. The easterly wind across the South will strengthen, which causes more rain in the South and isolated heavy rain in the lower portion. The wind waves in the lower Gulf of Thailand will strengthen that is 2 – 3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.
Warning
During 9 – 13 Feb, people in upper Thailand should be careful of thundershowers with gusty winds and hails including keep healthy due to variable weather. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with cautions and small boats should keep ashore.

From Surat Thani upward: Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower.
From Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
