From 12 - 15 Feb, the westerly over the North causes cool to cold in the North with a drop in temperatures by 1-3C. Cold to very cold condition is expected on the mountaintops with isolated frost and minimum temperature 2-12 C. The high-pressure system over the Northeast and the South China Sea will weaken. An increase in temperatures by 1-3 C with morning fog are forecast for the Northeast, the Central and the East. The easterly wind across the Gulf and the South remains strong until 12 Feb. The strong wind rises the waves 2–3 meters high in the lower Gulf and above 3 meters in thundershower areas. From 13 - 15 Feb, the easterly wind across the Gulf and the South will weaken with less rain and the waves 1-2 meters high over the lower Gulf. From 16 - 18 Feb, another high-pressure area from China will extend to the Northeast affecting cool to cold weather with strong wind and a decrease in temperatures by 2-4 C. The Central and the East has cool weather and a decrease in temperatures by 1-3 C. The easterly wind prevailing the South and the Gulf will be stronger with more rain and the stronger wind and waves over the South in both the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. From Nakhon Si Thammarat southward, the wind rises the waves up to about 2 meters high and 2-3 meters high in thundershowers.

During 12 - 15 Feb, people in the North should keep healthy due to variable weather. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with cautions and small boats should keep ashore until 12 Feb 2020. During 16 - 18 Feb, people in the Northeast, the Central and the East should keep healthy due to variable weather. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution.

Northern Part During 12 – 15 Feb, cool to cold, drop 1-3C in temperature.

Minimum temperature 11-20 C. Maximum temperature 30-33C. Westerly wind 10-20 km/hr.

Cold to very cold on mountaintops with isolated frost, minimum temperature 2-12C.

During 16 – 18 Feb, cool to cold with morning fog, rise 1-3C in temperature.

Minimum temperature 14-22 C. Maximum temperature 29-33C. Southeasterly wind 10-20 km/hr.

Cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 4-13C.

Northeastern Part During 12 – 15 Feb, cool with morning fog. Increasing in temperature by 1-3C. Isolated light rain mostly in the lower part.

Minimum temperature 17-23 C. Maximum temperature 32-35C.

Cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 12-16C. Southeasterly wind 10-20 km/hr.

During 16 – 18 Feb, cool to cold with strong wind. Drop 2-4C in temperature.

Minimum temperature 14-21 C. Maximum temperature 28-33C.

Cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 10-14C. Southeasterly wind 15-30 km/hr.

Central Part During 12 – 15 Feb, morning fog. rise 1-3C in temperature. Isolated light rain mostly in the lower part.

Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 34-36C.

Southeasterly wind 10-20 km/hr.

During 16 – 18 Feb, cool, drop 1-3C in temperature.

Minimum temperature 19-23 C. Maximum temperature 31-34C.

Easterly wind 10-20 km/hr.

Eastern Part During 12 – 15 Feb, partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers, rise 1-3C in temperature.

Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35C.

Southeasterly wind 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter.

During 16 – 18 Feb, cool, drop 1-3C in temperature.

Minimum temperature 20-23 C. Maximum temperature 32-34C.

Easterly wind 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter.

Southern Part (East Coast) During 13 – 16 Feb, isolated thundershowers mostly in the lower part.

From Surat Thani upward: Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter.

From Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1 - 2 meters.

During 17 – 18 Feb, isolated to scattered thundershowers.

From Surat Thani upward: Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1 - 2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershower.

From Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and 2 - 3 meters in thundershower.

Minimum temperature 21-25C. Maximum temperature 31-34C.

Southern Part (West Coast) Isolated thundershowers throughout the period.

During 13 – 16 Feb, easterly wind 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.

During 17 – 18 Feb, easterly wind 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1 - 2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.

Minimum temperature 21-26C. Maximum temperature 33-35C.

Metropolitan During 12 - 15 Feb, morning fog with isolated light rain.

Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36C. Southeasterly wind 10-20 km/hr.

During 16 - 18 Feb, Partly cloudy with morning fog.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-34C. Easterly wind 10-20 km/hr.
