Thailand Daily Weather Forecast

Distribution On February 13, 2020

General Situation The westerly trough moves through the North to the Northeast and Laos while the high-pressure system across the Northeast and the South China Sea remains weak. Cool to cold weather with a decrease in temperatures by 1-3 C is likely in the North. The Northeast has an increase in temperatures, morning fog, and possible isolated light rain while the Central and the East region has outbreaks of thundershowers in some area.

The weakening easterly winds across the Gulf cause decreasing rain in the South and weak wind waves in the Gulf. From Nakhon Si Thammarat passing south, waves are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershower. All ships should proceed with caution.

Dust situation: the southeasterly wind across the central region cause an accumulation of dust/smog remaining. In the North, more accumulation in the morning but afternoon is expected due to bad ascending of air-parcel.
