General Situation The strong high-pressure system from China cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea while the easterly winds prevail across the Gulf is stronger.
Cool to cold condition in the morning stays in the North and the Northeast while decreasing temperatures by 1-3 C and slightly change in the North, the Central and the East regions. In the South is more rain and the strong wind-waves in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani Southward 2-3 meters high. People in the upper Thailand should take care of health due to cold weather. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani downward should keep ashore until 23 Feb, 20.
Dust situation: the southeasterly wind across the central region cause a decrease in accumulation of dust/smog. In the North, more accumulation in the morning but afternoon is expected due to bad ascending of air-parcel.
