General Situation The high-pressure system still covers the Northeast and the South China Sea while the continuous strong easterly wind prevails cross the Gulf of Thailand.

In upper Thailand, namely the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions, morning cool to cold weather accompanies with strong wind. People stay safe and keep warm. The South has less rain with strong winds rising the waves up 2-3 meters high in the upper Gulf from Surat Thani upwards and 2-4 meters high in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards. People along the shoreline should beware of inshore surges. All ships in should proceed with cautions, and small boats keep ashore from 20-24 February.

Dust situation: the stronger easterly wind across the central region brings about less accumulation of dust/smog. In the North, more accumulation in the morning but afternoon is expected due to bad ascending of air-parcel.

Minimum temperature 21-23 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C.

Easterly winds 10-20 km/hr.

Eastern Part Cool in the morning with strong wind.

Minimum temperature 21-23 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C.

Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.

Southern Part (East Coast) Partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers mostly in Chumphon,

Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 28-33 C.

Surat Thani upwards: Easterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Wave height 2-3 meters.

Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Easterly winds 20-45 km/hr.

Wave height 2-4 meters.

Southern Part (West Coast) Partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi.

Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C.

Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.

Metropolitan Cool in the morning with strong wind.

Minimum temperature 22-23 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C.

Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
