General Situation The rather strong high- pressure system that covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening. Meanwhile, the continuous strong easterly wind prevails cross the Gulf of Thailand.
In upper Thailand morning cool to cold weather is likely while strong winds are possible in the East and the Central regions. People stay safe and keep warm. The South has isolated thundershowers with the waves up 2-3 meters high in the upper Gulf from Surat Thani upwards and 2-4 meters high in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards. People along the shoreline should beware of inshore surges. All ships in should proceed with cautions, and small boats keep ashore.
