General Situation The heat low covers upper Thailand with hot condition hitting the area. People stay safe. Meanwhile, the weak westerly winds across the Gulf bring about less rain over the South.
From 13–16 March, another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea where many areas of the upper country have hot to very hot condition. As a result, the southwesterly wind will bring the humidity from the South China Sea to in to the Northeast, the East, the Central and the lower North regions. This will also bring about the outbreaks of summer thunderstorm accompanying with thundershowers, gusty winds, hail, and lighting strike likely over the upper country.
Dust situation: The weak southwesterly wind across Bangkok and its vicinity brings about more accumulation of dust/smog.
In the upper North, more accumulation is forecast in the morning but afternoon due to bad ascending of air-parcel.
