General Situation The heat low covers upper Thailand with hot condition hitting the area. People stay safe. Meanwhile, the weak easterly winds across the Gulf lead to less rain over the South.
From 14–16 March, another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea where many areas of the upper country have hot to very hot condition. As a result, the southwesterly wind will bring the humidity from the South China Sea into the lower Northeast, the East, the Central and the lower North regions. This will also bring about the outbreaks of thunderstorms accompanying with thundershowers, gusty winds, hail, and possible lighting strikes likely over the upper country.
Dust situation: The weak southwesterly wind across Bangkok and its vicinity brings about more accumulation of dust/smog.
In the upper North, more accumulation is forecast in the morning but afternoon due to bad ascending of air-parcel.
