General Situation The rather strong high-pressure system covers the Northeastern Thailand and the upper South China Sea, expected it will extend to cover the Central and the Eastern Thailand by today (23 April, 2020) while hot to very hot condition occurs in much of the upper country. There would be outbreaks of summer storms likely with thunderstorms, gusty winds, lightning strikes and some hail in the Northeast, the eastward of the North, the Central and the East. In the South, the weak easterly wind prevails across those with a decrease in rainfalls. People stay safe by avoiding outdoor places, large trees and unsecured buildings, and farmers should prevent for crops damage.
Dust situation: In the upper North, less accumulation is forecast while the upper Central region including Bangkok and its vicinity has also less accumulation of dust/smog.

Northern Part Very hot. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail mostly in Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun.

Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasim, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Southeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Central Part Hot to very hot in places. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.

Eastern Part Hot. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri,
