General Situation The rather strong high-pressure system covers the Northeast, the East and the South China Sea, expected it will extend to cover the Central by today (24 April, 2020) while hot to very hot condition occurs in much of the upper country. There would be outbreaks of summer storms likely with thunderstorms, gusty winds, lightning strikes and some hail in the Northeast, the eastward of the North, the Central and the East including Bangkok and vicinity. The easterly wind prevails across the South and the Gulf with thundershower. People stay safe by avoiding outdoor places, large trees and unsecured buildings, and farmers should prevent for crops damage.

Northern Part Very hot. Scattered thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail mostly in Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai,
Phichit and Phetchabun.
Minimum temperature 23-29 C. Maximum temperature 37-43 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Scattered thunderstorms with isolated gusty winds and hail mostly in Loei,
Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C.
Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Central Part Day hot. Scattered thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri, Chainat, Suphan buri, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.

Southeasterly winds 10-30 k/hr.
Eastern Part Fairly widespread thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail mostly in Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
