Weather Forecast: On 27 – 29 Apr, the rather strong high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea while hot over upper Thailand. Thunderstorms with gusty wind and isolated heavy rain will be likely in the upper country, especially in the North. The strong easterly wind prevails over the South and the Gulf cause abundant rain with isolated heavy rian will be likely in the South. The strong wind waves in the lower South region 1-2 meters high and about 2 meters high in thundershower areas.
During 30 Apr - 3 May, the high pressure area from China is weakening. This leads to the southerly wind and the southeasterly winds blow with the humidity from the South China Sea into the lower North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions. Isolated thundershowers are forecast in these areas. The strong easterly wind prevails over the South and the Gulf is weakening. This cause is decreasing ring and wind waves in the lower South is weakening, too.

Warning: During 27 - 28 Apr, people in the North and the Southern of Thailand should beware increasing thundershowers with gusty wind. And all ships should proceed with caution.

Surat Thani downwards: Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.
