On 28 – 29 Apr, the rather strong high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea while hot over upper Thailand. Thunderstorms with gusty wind and isolated heavy rain will be likely in the upper country, especially in the North. The strong easterly wind prevails over the South and the Gulf cause abundant rain with isolated heavy rian will be likely in the South. The strong wind waves in the lower South region is 1-2 meters height and about 2 meters height in thundershower areas.
During 30 Apr - 4 May, the high pressure area from China will be weakening. This leads to the southerly wind and the southeasterly winds blow with the humidity from the South China Sea into the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions. Isolated thundershowers are forecast in these areas. The easterly wind prevails over the South and the Gulf will weak with the weakening wind waves in the Gulf. During 30 Apr – 2 May, the active low cell over Sumatra will develop and cause more rain with isolated heavy rain in the South.
Warning
During 28 - 29 Apr, people in the Northern and the Southern of Thailand should beware of heavy rain with gusty wind. And all ships should proceed with caution.

Surat Thani downwards: Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.
