General Situation The heat low cell covers over the lower North and the upper Central with hot weather in upper Thailand. The high pressure covers Laos, Vietnam and the South China Sea causing the southerly wind and the southeasterly wind prevails over the upper country. Isolated thundershowers is likely in the areas with gusty wind in the North. People should stay safe from the severe weather. Farmers should prevent for crops damage.
The strong easterly wind prevails over the Gulf and the South. More rain with isolated heavy rain and gusty wind will be forecast for the areas. The strong wind and waves over the lower Gulf from Surat Thani southward are likely about 2 meters and above 2 meters in the thundershower areas.
During 1 – 5 May 2020, the active low pressure over Sumatra will intensify and cause thundershower with isolated heavy rain over the South.
Dust situation: In the upper North, less accumulation is forecast while the upper Central region including Bangkok and its vicinity has also less accumulation of dust/smog.

Northern Part Hot with scattered thundershowers and isolated gusty winds mostly in Mae Hong Son,
Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet and Sukhothai.

Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Hot with isolated thundershowers mostly in Loei, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima.

Central Part Hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Sawan,
Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Southeasterly winds 10-20 k/hr.
Eastern Part Hot with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds mostly in Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers areas.
Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rain in Chumphon, Surat Thani,
Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat.

Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
