Weather Forecast During 7 - 9 May, the heat low cell covers upper Thailand with hot to very hot are likely in the area. Meanwhile, the southerly and the southeasterly winds blow with the humidity into the upper country. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible over those areas. During 10-13 May, the rather strong high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea while hot to very hot over upper Thailand. Thunderstorms with gusty wind and hails will be likely in the Northeast, the North, the East, and the Central.
The active low cell over Sumatra will intensify and is expected to move into the upper Bay of Bengal cause more rain in the South during 8-11 May. The wind and waves over the Andaman Sea will strengthen about 2 meters and thundershowers above 2 meters.
Warning
During 10-13 May, people in upper Thailand should keep off tree, unsecured building and billboards. Farmers should beware of crop damage. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas during 8-11 May.
