General Situation The heat low cell covers over upper Thailand. Hot weather and very hot in many areas are likely in the upper country. The southerly wind and the southeasterly wind prevail over the Northeast, the East, the Central and the lower North cause thunderstorms with gusty wind.
The easterly wind prevails over the Gulf and the South with thunder thunderstorms expected. The low pressure cell cover the head of Sumatra cause the wind wave over the Andaman Sea is stronger.
During 10-13 May, the high pressure system from China will extend to cover upper Thailand where hot weather occur including the rest regions. Outbreaks of thunderstorm, strike of lightning with gusty winds and hails are forecast.

Northern Part Hot to very hot with isolated thunderstorms and gusty wind mostly in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai,
Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Phrae, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phisanulok and Phetchabun.
Minimum temperature 24-30 C.
Maximum temperature 39-42 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Hot to very hot with isolated thunderstorms and gusty wind mostly in Nong Khai, Sakon Nakhon, Udon Thani, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Loei, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima,
Buri Ram, Surin. Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Central Part Hot to very hot with isolated thunderstorms and gusty wind mostly in Ratchaburi,
Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat and Nakhon Sawan.

Eastern Part Hot to very hot with isolated thunderstorms mostly in Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri,

Southern Part (East Coast) Partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
