During 13 - 16 May, the southerly and the southeasterly winds blowing in with the humidity to the upper country where hot to very hot occurs. Thunderstorms, gusty winds and hails are possible for the North while isolated thundershowers will be likely in the rest regions.. In the South, the southeasterly winds prevail over the South and the Gulf with the active low over the Andaman Sea. Thundershower is forecast in the areas. During 17 - 19 May, the southwestery wind prevail over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf while the active low over the lower Bay of Bengal. This low pressure cell will intensify and will move to upper Bay of Bengal. These cause the upper Thailand is increasing rain and isolated gusty wind.
The tropical storm “VONGFONG” over the east of the Philippines is expected to move northwestward, expwsted it will move to the upper Phillippine andthis storm no effect on Thailand.
Warning
People in upper Thailand should keep off big trees, unsecured buildings and billboards. Farmers should beware of crop damage. In this preriod. During 17-19 May, people in the South west coast should beware of heavy rain and accumulated rain.
