General Situation The heat low covers upper Thailand, and the southerly and the southeasterly winds blow in with the humidity to those area where hot to very hot occurs. Thundershowers with gusty winds are possible. People should beware of the severe conditions. In the South, the southeasterly wind across the Gulf lead to continuous rainfall over the South while the active low covers the lower Bay of Bengal. This low trends to strengthen and move to its upper portion.
Typhoon “VONGFONG” due east of the Philippines is moving west with no effect on Thailand.

Northern Part Hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds
mostly in Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Tak, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 38-41 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Hot during the time with very hot in some place.
Isolated thundershowers and gusty winds mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Udon Thani,
Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin,
Si Sa Ket, Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen.
Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 38-40 C.
Southeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Central Part Hot during the day with very hot in some place.
Isolated thundershowers and gusty winds mostly in Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani,
Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri and Saraburi.

Eastern Part Hot with scattered thundershowers and gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Nayok,
Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers
mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung,
Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat.
