During 14 - 16 May, the southerly and the southeasterly winds blowing in with the humidity to the upper country where hot to very hot occurs. Thunderstorms, gusty winds and hails are possible for the North while isolated thundershowers will be likely in the rest regions. During 17 - 20 May, the southwesterly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand while the active low over the lower Bay of Bengal will intensify and will move to upper Bay of Bengal. These cause Thailand is increasing rain.
Typhoon “VONGFONG” over the east of the Philippines is forecast to move westward, expected it will move to the upper Phillippines during 15-16 May no effect on Thailand.
Warning
During 14 - 16 May, people in upper Thailand should keep off big trees, unsecured buildings and billboards. Farmers should beware of crop damage. In this preriod. During 17-20 May, people in the South west coast should beware of heavy rain and accumulated rain.
