General Situation The heat low covers upper Thailand cause hot to very hot occurs in the areas. The southerly and the southeasterly winds blow in with the humidity to the Northeast, the East, Central and the lower North. Thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible. People should beware of
the severe conditions. In the South, the southeasterly wind across the Gulf lead to continuous rainfall over the South.
Typhoon “VONGFONG” over Philippines is moving west, expected it will move to the upper Philippines during 15-16 May no effect on Thailand. The active low covers the lower Bay of Bengal. This low trend to strengthen and move to its upper portion.

Northern Part Hot to very hot with isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds
mostly in Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Tak and Phetchabun.
Minimum temperature 22-27 C. Maximum temperature 35-40 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Hot with isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds mostly in Loei, Udon Thani,
Nong Bua Lam Phu, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin,
Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Minimum temperature 25-29 C. Maximum temperature 36-39 C.
Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Central Part Hot during the day with very hot in some place.
Isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani,
Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphan Buri and Kanchanaburi.
Minimum temperature 25-29 C. Maximum temperature 37-41 C.

Eastern Part Hot with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Nayok,
Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
