General Situation The southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. Thunderstorms with isolated heavy rain are possible for all those regions. People should beware of the severe conditions. In the South, the moderate southwest monsoon across the South leads to continuous rainfall and isolated heavy rain over the South. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
Tropical cyclone “AMPHAN” is moving north-northeast through the Bay of upper Bengal. It is expected to make landfall in upper India and Bangladesh.

Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun.
