Weather Forecast: During 20 - 21 May, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and upper Thailand. Isolated heavy rain is likely in the North, the East and the South (west coast). The moderates wind waves are likely in the Andaman Sea. From Phuket passing north about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. During 22 - 26 May, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand while the southeasterly winds prevail across the Northeast, the East, the Central and the lower North cause remain thundershowers rain over Thailand and isolated heavy rain in the South. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea will be weakening.
Tropical cyclone “AMPHAN” over the upper Bay of Bengal. It is expected to make landfall over India and Bangladesh by tonight ( 20 May).
Warning
During 19 - 21 May, people in the North, the East and the South (west coast) should beware of heavy rain and accumulated rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution, and small boat should keep ashore until 21 May 2020.
