Weather Forecast During 8 - 11 June, the strengthening southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and Thailand. The low pressure cell covers the Gulf of Martaban and it is expected to move to the upper Bay of Bengal. Cause Continuous rain over Thailand and Isolated heavy rains in the monsoon side. The wind waves over the Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. During 12 - 14 June, southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. Isolated heavy rainfall still remains in the East and the South. Wind waves in the the Andaman Sea will weaken.

People in the risk areas should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood throughout the period. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep away from thundershowers during 8 - 11 June.
