Weather Forecast During 29 – 30 July, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Meanwhile, the low pressure cell covers upper Laos and Vietnam. Causing more rain over the upper North, and the Northeast region. During 31 July – 4 Aug, the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Including the active low over South China Sea will stronger and move west to Hainan island, China. More rains are likely over the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rain. Wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will intensify 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters in the thundershowers area.
Warning
During 31 July – 4 Aug, people in the upper North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood. All ships the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boat keep ashore during the period.
