Weather Forecast During 31 July – 5 Aug, the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Including the active low over upper South China Sea, forecast it will develop to tropical depression and tropical storm. During 2 - 4 Aug, it will be moving pass Hai Nan, China to upper Vietnam. More rains are likely over the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rain. Wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will intensify 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters in the thundershowers area.
Warning
During 31 July – 5 Aug, people in the upper North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood. All ships the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boat keep ashore during the period.
Northern Part During 30 – 31 July, isolated to scattered thundershowers.
