Weather Forecast During 31 July – 4 Aug, the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. More rains are likely over the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rain. The strong wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand is likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea, about 2 merters high in the Gulf of Thailand and above 3 meters in the thundershowers area. During 5 - 6 Aug, the southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will weakening. Less rain is likely over Thailand but still isolated heavy rain in the North, the East and the South. The wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will weakening about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea.
The tropical depression over upper South China Sea. It is expected develop to tropical storm next time. It will be moving pass Hai Nan, China and to make landfall to upper Vietnam during 2-3 Aug.
Warning During 31 July – 4 Aug, people in the upper North, the Northeast, the East and the South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood. All ships the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boat keep ashore.
Northern Part During 31 July - 1 Aug, isolated to scattered thundershowers.

During 2 – 4 Aug, scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy to very heavy rain.
