General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and the upper Northeast to the active low-pressure cell over the upper South China Sea while the strong southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rains are likely over the North, the Northeast, the East and the South west coast regions. People in the North and the South west coast should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff.
The strong wind waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea, about 2 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boat in the Andaman sea keep ashore lasting 11 August.
The catalog 3 tropical storm “Jangmi” over the Pacific is expected to move to Taiwan and make landfall South Korea by 10 August with no effect on Thailand.
