During 11 – 13 Aug, the moderates southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Less rain with isolated heavy rain is likely in the North, the Northeast, the East and the west coast South. The moderates wind waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea, 1- 2 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 14 - 16 Aug, the southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will weakening while the easterly wind prevail over the lower Northeast, the East and the Gulf Thailand. Continue isolated heavy rain is likely in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will weakening about 2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
The catalog 2 storms (tropical depression) overs the South China Sea and the catalog 3 storms (tropical storm “Jangmi”) over Pacific Ocean. It is expected downgrade by tonight 10 Aug 2020. This storm does not affect Thailand.
