General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the upper portion of the North to the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam while the southwest monsoon prevails across the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the North, the Northeast and the East regions. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff.
From 20-23 August, the monsoon trough will lie across the North and the upper Northeast with more rain and some heavy falls in the upper country.

in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao,
Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Tak and Phetchabun.

Northeastern Part Very cloudy with widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Loei, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom,
Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Mukdahan, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Central Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers
mostly in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Saraburi, Saraburi,
