During 21 – 23 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast to the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and Thailand. More rains are likely over the country with isolated heavy while very heavy rain are forecast for the North. During 24 – 27 Aug, the southwest monsoon still prevails across the Andaman Sea and Thailand while the monsoon trough will weaken. Decreasing rainfall is expected over upper Thailand.
