During 31 Aug – 4 Sep, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand while the monsoon trough lie across the North and the Northeast. During 5-6 Sep, the monsoon trough will weak while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Furthermore the easterly wave will move to the lower Northeast, the East and the Gulf. Thundershowers are likely over Thailand thoughout the period with isolated heavy rain.
The category 5, (Typhoon) “Maysak” over the western North Pacific, the east of the Philippines. It is expected to move to Korean Peninsula during 2-3 Sep with no effect on Thailand.

During 31 Aug – 4 Sep, people in the country should beware of the severe conditions that causes forest runoffs and flash floods. During 5-6 Sep, people in the lower Northeast and the East should beware of severe conditions.
