The active monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the lower Northeast regions with more rain and some heavy downpours. People in the risky areas of the lower North, the Central and the lower Northeast should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and water runoff. There remains the southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea and the South.
Category 5 typhoon “MAYSAK” over the Pacific is moving to Korean Peninsula from 2-3 September with no effect on Thailand.

Northern Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Tak,
Kamphaengphet, Phichit and Phetchabun.

Northeastern Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chaiyaphum,

Sara Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi,
Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.
