During 1 – 4 Sep, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand while the monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central, and the East. During 5 - 7 Sep, the monsoon trough will weaken while the southwest monsoon still over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Thundershowers are likely over Thailand thoughout the period with isolated heavy rain.
The category 5, (Typhoon) “Maysak” over the East China Sea is expected to move to Korean Peninsula during 2-3 Sep with no effect on Thailand.

During 1 – 4 Sep, people in the risk area in the North, the lower Northeast, the Centtral, and the East should beware of the severe conditions that causes forest runoffs and flash floods. During 5 - 7 Sep, people in the lower Northeast and the East should beware of severe conditions.
