General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the lower Central, the upper South and the East to the active low-pressure cell in the South of Vietnam and the western of Cambodia. Meanwhile, the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Continuous rainfalls will be likely over the country. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the lower Northeast, the East and the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the South. People in risky areas of the Northeast, the East, the Central and the South should beware of severe conditions. The strong wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf (from Nakhon Si Thammarat northward) are likely 2-4 meters high and more than 4 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
The category 1 active low pressure cell covers the Southern of Vietnam and the western of Cambodia. It is moving west slowly. It is expected will be moving through Cambodia, the Eastern part of Thailand into the upper Gulf of Thailand on 8 October.

Northeastern Part Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains with strong wind
in Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Sakon Nakhon, Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat Charoen, Yasothon,
Roi Et, Si Sa Ket, Surin, Buri Ram and Nakhon Ratchasima.

Central Part Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Kanchanaburi,
Ratchaburi, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, Nakhon Pathom, Suphanburi, Sing Buri,
Ang Thong, Saraburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.

Eastern Part Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains
in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Phetchaburi,
Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Nakhon Si Thammarat northward: Southwesterly winds 20-45 km/hr.
