General Situation The high pressure system from China has covered the upper North and the Northeast of Thailand. Cool weather with isolated rain is possible for upper Thailand. People in the North and the Northeast keep healthy due to the changeable condition. The weak monsoon trough across the middle South and the northeast monsoon over the Gulf of Thailand lead to isolated thundershowers in the South.
At 4.00 a.m. today (2 Nov 2020), a Category 3, Tropical storm GONI over the Philippines has moved into the middle South China Sea. It is expected to enter the coast of middle Vietnam from 4-5 November.
