The rather strong high pressure from China extends to upper Thailand throughout the period. Drop by 2-4 C with cool air and windy is likely over upper Thailand. During 5-7 Nov, isolated rain with strong wind are likely in the East and the eastern part of the Northeast. A Category 3, tropical storm \"Goni\" over the central South China Sea is expected to move the coast of middle Vietnam during 4-5 Nov 2020, then weaken with the southeasterly wind prevails over the upper country. The monsoon trough lies across the middle south while the northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South cause isolated rain in the South. The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South will intensified. More rain with isolated heavy rain is likely in the South. The moderate wind waves are likely in the upper Gulf of Thailand about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.
A Category 3, tropical storm \"Atsani\" over the north of the Philippines is expected to move to the South China Sea on 6 November. This storm will move near Tokin Bay during 7-8 November with no effect on Thailand.
