General Situation Another strong high-pressure system from China has extended to cover the South of China and the upper Vietnam. Expected, it will extend to cover upper Thailand tomorrow (4 December 2020). The upper Thailand with cool to cold and windy, 1-3 C drop in temperature. People should keep healthy due to the variable weather.
The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South and the low-pressure cell remains cover the lower South. Heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in the South. People in the lower South should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff.
The winds in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea become stronger, the waves are likely about 2 meters high in the upper portion,
2-3 meters high in the lower portion and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, and small boats keep ashore lasting 4 December.
