General Situation The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Morning fog with thick patches are forecast for the area. Still, there remains cool to cold in the North while mountaintops remain cold to very cold. Isolated rain is expected in the lower Northeast, the Central and the East regions. All transports should take caution in foggy area. In the South thundershowers will be forecast due to the strengthening northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand.
Another rather strong high-pressure system from China has extended to cover the South of China. Expected to approach upper Thailand on 15 December. Extend to upper Thailand with decreasing temperatures by 2-3 C. Cool to cold weather with strong winds still covers the area. At the same time in the South, the northeast monsoon covering the Gulf will strengthen with more rain and some heavy downpour.

Central Part Cool with morning fog and isolated light rain.

Eastern Part Morning fog and Isolated thundershowers mostly in Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C.
Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.
Southern Part (East Coast) Very cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C.
Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershower.
Southern Part (West Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Krabi, Trang and Satun.
Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C.
Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.
