During 28 ? 29 Dec 2020, the weak high pressure cover upper Thailand. Morning fog and dense fog in some areas while the weather is still cool over the north and northeast. The northeast monsoon that prevails over the Gulf and the South is also weakening caused less rain in the South. During 30 Dec 2020 - 3 Jan 2021, the another strong high pressure from China will extend to cover upper Thailand. Cool to cold are likely over upper Thailand, 6-8C drop in temperature with strong wind. The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South will strengthen caused more rain with isolated heavy rain in the South. The wind and waves over the Gulf of Thailand will be stronger, about 2 meters in the upper Gulf and 2-3 meters in the lower Gulf, above 3 meters in thundershower area.

During 28 ? 29 Dec, people in upper Thailand should proceed with caution due to the poor visibility. During 30 Dec 2020 - 3 Jan 2021, people in upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather. People in the South should beware of severe condition and cold surge. All ships over the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boat in lower Gulf should keep ashore.
