The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South will strengthen. The wind and waves over the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen, 2-4 meters in the lower Gulf. During 13-14 January, the high pressure from China will weaken. Cool to cold, 2-4C rise in temperature is likely over upper Thailand. During 8 - 12 January, people over upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather. People in the South should beware of severe condition. All ships over the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boat in lower Gulf should keep ashore.
