During 17 - 19 January, another strong high pressure from China will extend to cover upper Thailand. Cool to cold with strong wind, 4-6C drop in temperature is likely over upper Thailand. The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South. The wind and waves over the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen, 2-3 meters in the lower Gulf.

During 15 - 16 January, people over upper Thailand should beware of poor visibility. During 17-19 January, people over upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather. People in the South should beware of severe condition. All ships over the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boat in lower Gulf should keep ashore.
