During 17 - 21 February, another moderate high pressure from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Isolated thundershowers with gust are likely over upper Thailand before decreasing in temperature by 2-4C with cool to cold and strong wind are expected in the North and the Northeast while 1-3C drop in temperature in the rest regions. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf of Thailand and the South will strengthen with more rains. The moderate wind will rise the wave up to about 2 meters in the lower Gulf of Thailand and above 2 meters in thundershowers area. After that On 22 February, the high pressure covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea will weaken. 1-2C rise in temperature with morning fog and dense fog in some area is forecast for the upper country. The southerly and the southeasterly wind prevails over the lower North, the Central, the East including Bangkok and its vicinity with thundershowers in the areas. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the South and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. Less rains is likely over the South while the wind and waves in the Gulf of Thailand will weaken.

During 17 - 18 February, people over upper Thailand should beware of thundershowers. Residents should keep off unsecured buildings and outdoor places. Farmers should prepare for crop damage. During 19 - 21 February, people over upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area.
