General Situation The heat low covers the lower North and the upper Central with hot weather covering the upper portion of the country. Very hot weather is possible in some places of the North where haze also cover all during the day. The southerly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the lower North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions with isolated thundershowers. People in upper Thailand should keep healthy and stay safe due to the hot condition.
From 21 to 22 March, another strong high pressure area form China will extend to covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea with hot to very hot weather covering the upper portion of the country. Outbreaks of summer storms, thunderstorms with gusty winds and hails are expected in the Northeast at first, then will effect on the North, the Central, the East, including Bangkok and its vicinity and the upper South regions. The easterly wind prevailing over the South and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. More rains are likely over the South from 22 March 2021.
