Weather Forecast During 21 - 22 May, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the south, and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain with isolated heavy rain are likely in the South and the East. The moderates wind and wave is likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand about 2 meters and 1-2 meters respectively, and above 2 meters in thundershowers areas. During 23 - 27 May, the monsoon though will lie across the lower North, the Central, the East and the lower Northeast. More rain with isolated heavy rain is likely in these areas. The southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen, so isolated heavy rain is expected in these areas. The wind and wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen, 2-3 meters in the Andaman sea and about 2 meters in the Gulf of Thailand, above 3 meters in thundershowers areas.
During 23 - 25 May, the active low pressure cells over the Bay of Bengal and the South China Sea are expected to intensify.

During 23 - 27 May, people in the Central, the East, the South should beware of from heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution in thundershower areas and small boat in the Andaman sea should keep ashore.
