During 8 ? 13 Jun, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. Including the low pressure cell covers upper Lao and the Gulf of Tonkin, Vietnam. Scattered thundershowes with isolated heavy rain are forecast in Thailand. The winds forces the waves in the Andaman Sea up to 2-4 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. For the upper Gulf of Thailand, the waves are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
During 11 ? 13 Jun, the active low cell over the upper bay of Bengal is expected to intensify. This causes the southwest monsoon remain over the Andaman sea, Thailand and the Gulf though out the period.
Warning
People over the North, the Northeast, the East and the South should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution especially in thundershower areas. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
