General Situation The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is weakening while the southeasterly wind prevails over the Northeast. Less rain will be likely over the country, but there remains some heavy rains in the Northeast and the East regions.
The wind forces the waves 1-2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea from Phangnga northward and about 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the waves are about 1 meter high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution.
