Thailand Daily Weather Forecast
Distribution On August 3, 2021
General Situation
The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand while the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, the upper portion of the North, upper Laos and upper Vietnam into the active low cell over the coast of southern China. Isolated heavy rains are possible for the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South (west coast). People should beware of the severe condition and its accumulation that may cause overflows and flash floods.
The stronger wind forces the waves up to 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea from Phuket northward and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand, the wind forces the waves about 2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
