General Situation The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Thundershowers remains over the western portion of Thailand with isolated heavy rains in the North, the East and the South (west coast). People should beware of the severe condition.
The stronger wind forces the waves up to 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea from Phangnga northward and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand, the wind forces the waves about 2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore until 6 Aug 2021.
Tropical storm ?LUPIT? over the coast of southern China is expected to move towards Taiwan from 6 and 7 August. This storm does not affect Thailand?s weather.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai and Tak.

Northeastern Part Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon,
Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani,
Lop Buri, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi and Ratchaburi.

Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok,
Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuab Khiri Khan, Chumphon,
Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pattani and Narathiwat.
Minimum temperature 24-26 C.
Maximum temperature 32-35 C.
Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi.
Minimum temperature 21-27 C. Maximum temperature 29-34 C.
Phangnga northward: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Phuket southward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Metropolitan Scattered thundershowers mostly in the afternoon to evening.
