During 8 - 10 Sep, the active monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the Northeast. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast for the whole country. During 11 - 14 Sep, the monsoon trough will shift to lie across the North and the upper Northeast. Less rain are likely over the whole country with isolated heavy rain.
The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand throughout the period cause the strong wind and waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, 2-3 meters in the Andaman Sea and about 2 meters in the Gulf of Thailand and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Tropical storm ?CONSON? over the central part of the Philippines is moving northwest into the South China Sea by tomorrow (9 September). It is expected move to the Gulf of Tonkin during 12 - 13 September.
Warning
During 8 - 10 Sep, people over the risk areas in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South should beware of the severe conditions. All ships should proceed with caution and small boat in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore until 14 Sep.
