During 5 - 7 Oct, the monsoon trough will lie across the lower Central, the East and the upper South while the active low cell over the South China Sea is expected to move near Hainan Island. More rains are likely over Thailand and isolated heavy rain in the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South. During 7 - 11 Oct, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. The strong wind will rise the wave up to 2-3 meters over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, and about 2 meters in the lower Gulf while above 3 meters in thundershower areas.
During 5 - 11 Oct, the active low cell over the South China Sea is expected to move near Hainan Island.
Warning
During 5 - 7 Oct, people in the risk areas over Thailand should beware of heavy rain and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and over flows. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off from thundershowers throughout the period. Small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore during 7 - 11 Oct.
